I recieved a TastyKake Kandy Bar Kake in my Spring Vox Box from Influenster. Reese's is one of my favorite candies and who doesn't love cake, so needless to say I couldn't wait to try it.. Since I have a little one of course I had to share lol.. The card that was included in the box stated that this item retails for $4.49. I saw it for $3.99 at my local grocery store but I purchased a box of 5 for $3.00 at Walmart. The tastykake was good. It was chocolate and had reese's peanut butter in between. I ate it as a breakfast bar well I should say shared it... The cake part is kinda dry so you will need something to drink but the creme filling makes up for it. I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster. I used this to keep the volume of my curls. I'm going to be honest I didn't read the instructions. I rarely do. I'm a product junkie so I like to jump in. This reminded me of baby powder at first and since my hair was black I thought it would make my hair gray. But I dusted it in my damp hair and shook it at the roots. The curls stayed big all day and didn't swell like they usually do. This is a little expensive for my budget. But for those who have extra money go for it.. I also got a $5 coupon if I wanted to purchase it. The retail price is in an earlier blog. I've posted a pic of how my curls lasted all day.. I was excited to use these because I've been wanting to get my nails done but I have a love hate relationship with acrylic nails and right now it's hate. I thought this would be a quick and cute way to have a polished look. I recieved the color Joyride which was a fuschia color. My nail bed is small so I had to go through a few of the nails to get them to fit. They had some plastic tabs on the back with adhesive and a pad was included to clean your nail bed. I laid them all out and applied them. They were cute for a day.. After that 2 of them kept acting like they wanted to pop off so I purchased some nail glue. It got increasingly worse. They were snagging everything especially my hair. I had to take these things off asap. They are suppose to last a week mine lasted maybe 3 days. My son is still finding them throughout the house. I would recommend these if you have an event to go to that you didn't have time to get your nails done and it will be a one day thing. These are priced at $5.99 for colors $7.99 for patterns at CVS, , Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart, and more.
I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster http://impressmanicure.com/ I recently made some skincare purchases from my new favorite website http://www.drugstore.com. They have all of your favorite drugstore products for less. Beauty.com is also apart of the site and they have a variety of skincare, makeup etc. I've heard about the products from other beauty gurus and I wanted to give them a try. Stay tuned for reviews. Click below to see the items that I purchased.
I'm going to start with that bad first. This stuff was terrible.. My face was already broken out and this took it to the next level. I got more acne with this than ever before. I had fine bumps all in my t-zone along with huge cystic ones on my jawline. I had to use my other acne wash to get rid of this. I tried this based on some reviews that I read and heard about. I decided to purchase a sample kit because of the price. I didn't want to spend too much and the stuff didn't work. Thank goodness I didn't waste too much money on this crap.. The kit that I bought doesn't appear to be available but it contained the following; JUICE BEAUTY GREEN APPLE BLEMISH CLEARING PEEL, BLEMISH CLEARING CLEANSER,BLEMISH BE GONE AND BLEMISH CLEARING POWDER. $60 VALUE ACTUAL PRICE $29. The only thing that I continue to use is the Blemish clearing powder under my foundation and the metal tin the products came in. The package said that by 30 days your skin would see results. I saw results but not the one I wanted. I know others that have had great results with this but not I. I will leave the link just in case any one wants to try it out for themselves. When you got to the site just search Juice Beauty and the above products. http://www.beauty.com/ Painted Earth is the TRUTH!!! I love this stuff. I was introduced to it from a beauty guru on youtube. I purchased the Acne/Sensitive Face Wash 23.95 and received several samples. The Boo Boo Gel was the best sample and it retails for $25 and I am repurchasing that. I also received some Vitamin C Eye Gel, Moisturizer,Baby Hint of Mint Mauve Lip Gloss and Blueberry Cranberry Scrub. I rarely have a break out using this. If I have a break out it's usually around the time of the month where I am going through hormone changes. This is when the boo boo gel comes into place. This stuff is good for acne and I've used it on bug bites. The owner Joanne was also really nice when I was ordering. I had lots of questions and she answered them quickly. This is like heaven in a jar. These two things are a must have in your everyday skin regimen. http://www.paintedearthskincare.com/
